The new film "Keith" is one best enjoyed by those who know nothing about the plot. The movie's characters experience twists and turns, flavored with adversity and triumph, that often leave their future in doubt.
It seems only appropriate, then, that Jesse McCartney's long-awaited film debut should finally emerge after nearly a half-decade of similar uncertainty.
"Making an independent film is a slow process," writer/director Todd Kessler said while speaking with MTV News this week, remembering the film's lengthy birthing process. "You have to pull in all your favors. You have to wait for free equipment to be available and this and that, and you just do it one step at a time."

Re: Jesse McCartney Finally Hits Big Screen In 'Keith' in this interview i'm the girl todd talks about the one who started the online petition! haha!! but yeahhh todd had jesse call me the day of the premiere in vegas to talk to jesse it was amazing!! but anyways everyone should still sign the petition and lets get to the goal of 1,000 even more would be even more better

Its such a hard role to play, and he was PERFECT for it! The movie blew me away completely.. The twists and turns, the music, the story - everything. Why is he talking in secrect languages, why doesn't he care about the future. At the end it hit me so hard that the boy is actually being sick and can not do college, because he was going to die. And after the film I cried me sick. And got me thinking what would I do If I stood in Keith place. You can Act jesse maccartney , I am proud of what you had set as the character of Keith one word sad.
